In my sessions I intend to be responsive to my students, identifying locations of both toughness as well as weak point and adapting the pace, mode and method of the sessions accordingly. Throughout my learning of mathematics I have always really felt that I engage the most with the subject via doing lots of example problems, so I would certainly put a big meaning on this technique to discovering in my lessons. I will certainly review the previous week's material at the start of each lesson to ensure a sound understanding and to develop self-confidence for the students as they progress.
I will do my best to eliminate any type of hesitation or anxiety when coming close to 'bigger' issues, whether in size or difficulty of their content, by revealing natural methods to break down the problem into smaller sections which are easier to tackle, prior to developing to a full, thorough way out.
I can guarantee that I will certainly be tolerant and encouraging in all of my interaction with tutees. I would certainly enjoy to not just expand my tutees' knowledge yet also, with the fulfillment of their development and success, see them expand a love for Maths as I have.
